RWA CRW meeting
/Second Saturday of the month. My day to get away from home and kids. It's a bit of a drive, but it's so worth it to meet up with people who are in the same boat as I am. Together, we learn about writing, discuss the industry, and fellowship the hard parts. Once a month, I can focus on my goal to succeed in publishing. I'm always inspired to get more done when I go to Denver...
I have many outlets in life. Writing is one of them, a big one. I'm also involved with the Army family groups. I have a bible study I'm a part of. There is always family to keep me busy--immediate and extended! Even though my family is first, my husband is my soul and my kids are my joy, being a part of the romance writing community is where my heart is...
It takes all the love I have for people, for family, for God, and expresses it like no other "hobby" can do. Especially not the running--God, no! I love to be healthy, but I wish I could do it without running. :D
At the meeting today, I received a token of appreciation for volunteer work I did. And I have to say, I was surprised! As a matter of fact, I've been so distracted this month [see photo above], I feel like a slacker. That made the gift so much more special. And now that my distractions are gone, I'm up and running...
Ready to get a few of these goals completed. So, tell me, what's on your plate this month? Are you starting a garden? Studying for finals? Writing a new book?
Whatever you do, do it with Love,
Beth
